Cannot add category

    At my own site (own domain, paid for hosting etc) I am having trouble using categories. When I click on the ‘add category’ button absolutely nothing happens. Could it be a broken install of WordPress? On my WordPress.com account though, this feature works perfectly.

    I can see the categories.php file in the wp-admin folder – should I try and download a clean version of this and upload it to my site again?

    Any help appreciated.
