cannot add new blog to existing account
-
Firstly, thanks for a great service!
Secondly, I’m really frustrated here – already have two blogs, and trying to create a third:
I’m logged in (the wordpress bar is visible at screen top), and trying to create a new blog, yet I’m having my email address rejected because it’s already registered! We know this! Is it not possible for the ‘new blog’ facility to be within the main Dashboard. And surely, if I’m already logged in, the ’email address’ field need not even be visible when addding blogs? Is it a Safari problem, I wonder … no, same prob in Firefox! Help, oh please, help! (Safari now collapses in a puff of bits …) -
While logged in go to http://wordpress.com/signup/ it should have a list of your existing blogs then ask you for the new _________.wordpress.com domain as well as title, language, and privacy settings.

The link on the home page actually says “Register another blog” when you’re logged in.
But ryannjenn’s link will take you directly to the form.

Well, bingo! Sorted out. Thank you both very much. My puzzlement persists, though, drmike, as the link you refer to, saying ‘register another blog’, is precisely the same link as that provided by ryannnjenn, and is the link I repeatedly used last night to try and create a new blog. The difference was that when I followed ryannjenn’s link this morning, my existing blogs did show up – when I used the ‘register another blog’ link last night, while logged in, they did not. But today, following that link works as per your description … most mysterious. Oh well. I do feel it would make sense for the ‘new blog’ option to be accessible from within the dashboard – having it elsewhere is most counter-intuitive.

*shrug* Sixapart gremlins maybe causing the issue
In my opinion, the create a new blog link is bets to be on the front page. It’s not needed on the backend. You don’t have a Create a New User link there either.
Feel free to submit a feedback with that suggestion though.
