Cannot add new social icon

  Hello,

  I am using the pique theme and attempting to add social icons to the footer area via the social icons widget. I am able to add one social link without any issue, but when I click ‘Add an icon’ there is no response and I am not able to add an additional social account.

  I’ve tried using both Google Chrome and Fire Fox and the problem persists. Any suggests?

  Hi Austin,

  In your theme ‘Pique’, you can add social media icons by:

  1. My Site -> Themes [Customize]
  2. Menus -> “Social”
  There you will get option to “Add Items”.

  There choose “Custom Links”, enter the link to your social media account and type the Social Media Name (Twitter/Instagram/Pinterest/etc…) in the “Link Text” box.

  Click “Add to Menu” then click “Save & Publish”

  The theme will display the social media icon automatically.

  I tried this while I was typing and it worked for me.

  P.S.: You should fix your Facebook link too, it’s not going to your FB page.
  Best way it to copy the link of your page and paste it in the link box.

  Thank you! I tried your suggestion and it works.

  Also, I had to change my Facebook privacy setting to get the link to show up correctly.
