Cannot add Plugin Installer or anything else! Help!

Hi!
I’m desperately in need of assistance as I’ve been trying for hours and hours with no success; only confusion and frustration! Whaa!
Ok so I’m trying to add Google Analytics to the WordPress site. I have successfully done this already on other wordpress sites but then again the dashboard looks completely different to what I’m used to. (On the wordpress sites I’m used to, I usually log in like this.. http://www.domainname.co.uk/wp-admin but on this occasion I have to use wordpress.com)
I have taken a screenshot of what the dashboard shows but can’t see how to add it to this post.
It’s missing the Plugins Installer and the /wp-plugins doesn’t go to anywhere either.
It’s driving me nuts that I can’t do things and everything seems very difficult to find.
Is there anyone out there with more experience that’s able to help me?

Your other sites are wordpress.org sites. wordpress.com is different. See:

Thanks for the link… I just read on there, “You can’t upload plugins” – basically, there’s no way it can be done :(
Am I right in thinking the only way is to start again, this time on a .org wordpress and by arranging my own hosting?
