Cannot add scripts to text widget
-
I seem to have problems adding widget codes to my blog. I cannot add twitter app or this new code for the Google+:
<script type=”text/javascript”>mbgc=’f5f5f5′;ww=’320′;mbc=’cecece’;bbc=’3F79D5′;bmobc=’3b71c6′;bbgc=’4889F0′;bmoc=’3F79D5′;bfc=’FFFFFF’;bmofc=’ffffff’;tlc=’cecece’;tc=’6a6a6a’;nc=’6a6a6a’;bc=’6a6a6a’;l=’y’;fs=’16’;fsb=’13’;bw=’100′;ff=’4′;lu=’6a6a6a’;pc=’4889F0′;wh=’340′;b=’s’; pid=’103432277767739410180′;</script><script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://widgetsplus.com/google_plus_widget.js”></script>
Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, you cannot run scripts at WordPress.com at all.
You have a prefab Twitter widget in your widgets, so use that instead. And you will have to find a non-script version of the G+ button as well.

As raincoaster has said we cannot use these codes on free hosted WordPress.com blogs as the software will strip them out to preserve security and stability on this multiuser blogging platform. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/But the good news is that you can simply capture an image of the Google+ button, upload it, and then link it to your Google+ profile. You can display it in either an image widget or a text widget in your blog’s sidebar.
