Cannot Add Tags to Posts

Hi There,
It’s me again – sorry for double-posting. I was going to ask this question in an earlier post, but thought it might clog up the responses …
Recently, I’ve been having trouble adding tags to posts – I’m not sure exactly why … it’s worked fine for the past few years, but perhaps a month ago, I haven’t been able to add tags. I’m able to enter text in the “tags” form, but nothing happens when I click the “add” button.
I own a Windows XP Media Center Edition (32-bit) and predominately use Google Chrome (v. 14) as my main internet browser, although I have tried to resolve the problem by using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Any tips would be fantastic and greatly appreciated!

Yes, I have. It’s weird – I tried adding tags on another laptop, (Windows Vista) and it still didn’t work.

I can’t see the problem myself.
You definitely can’t add tags, even after clearing your cache and cookies?

No, unfortunately not. :( Now, I cannot get the “quick edit” option for posts to appear … I’ll try clearing cache/cookies again and give you an update.
Would deleting history make any difference?

Ok – I think I’ve got it – thanks so much for your help!
At this moment, it only works on Firefox. I deleted both cookies and cache and went immediately to WordPress to try it out. I can add pictures, tags, and do the quick edit just fine.
However, I’m pretty sure once I log onto Gmail, the features don’t work anymore. I have to re-empty cookies/cache and immediately go to WordPress for it to work again.
Is there any way to not have to empty cookies/cache before I post on WordPress, or is this a normal practice for these problems?

I’m having a problem adding tags AND inserting a link in my post. I’ve cleared my history/cache, I’ve installed Firefox to try it that way, but still these two things are not working.
It does work, however, on a different computer at a different location.
Any help would be appreciated!

staff-blorbo, I might’ve figured out the problem? I realized that I have an old version of Java on my computer, and cannot uninstall it off of the add/remove programs (Windows XP)
It prevents me from installing newer versions, so I’m currently trying to figure out how to work around the problem.
It absolutely doesn’t work at all on G Chrome. Yes, it seems as though it fails to work on Firefox after I use Gmail … other webpages like Facebook, Twitter, etc. don’t seem to be a problem.
