Cannot add/register a new blog

  Trying to register a new .com blog I receive the error message :

  Oops! Sorry an error has occurred. Please click here to contact us so that we can fix it.
  Please remember that you have to provide the full, complete Blog URL, otherwise we can not fix it

  blogname was supposed to be something like hillstreet112.wordpress.com
  Tried varios variations with and without number in it, always gives me this error back.
  Anything down at the moment?
