cannot authorise app to publicise on Twitter

  Whenever I try to publicise my blog on Twitter, I get the following message from Twitter:

  Woah there!
  This page is no longer valid. It looks like someone already used the token information you provided. Please return to the site that sent you to this page and try again … it was probably an honest mistake.

  Facebook works fine. WordPress does not appear in the list of authorised apps on Twitter

  As a first step, could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  And then try reconnecting according to this guide:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-twitter
