Cannot cancel domain

  I purposefully let my previous domain disambiguationmedia.com expire as I now happily use the domain craigcharters.com. But my clients have pointed out that when they try and access my website, they receive the message:

  “Your blog’s domain disambiguationmedia.com stopped functioning on Saturday, October 4, 2014 and visitors who come to the web address disambiguationmedia.com cannot find your site any more. Please note the domain craigcharters.com that is pointing to this blog was also deactivated until disambiguationmedia.com is either renewed or canceled.”

  But when I try and cancel the domain, I receive the message:

  “You cannot cancel this domain because it was not registered with WordPress.com. Please contact support.”

  However, the domain was purchase via WordPress.

  I can confirm that I DO wish to cancel the domain disambiguationmedia.com. Please remove ASAP.
