Cannot cancel domain
-
My domain is supposed to auto-renew on 1/3/16. I was intending to cancel it anyways this year, but since there’s a lot going on right now, I was waiting until after Christmas. I don’t use the email that WordPress is attached to anymore and I completely forgot about the one month lead on auto-renewal, so I was caught off guard when I just got an email from PayPal saying that the renewal has already been authorized. When I click through to details, it says “This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when WordPress.com completes your order.” I needed the money I had in PayPal TODAY to buy a Christmas gift, but now I can’t access it because of this pending charge.
When I go to Manage Purchases > Click on the domain > Cancel and refund it says that I will receive a refund as it is within the two day window. When I click Cancel and refund again, I get a message that says “This upgrade cannot be cancelled.”
I thought it might be because I also have private registration, so I tried to cancel that and got the message “Private whois upgrade not deleted. Please contact support.”
Then, of course, when I go to the support page for canceling a domain, it says if you see any errors to contact support, but the link just leads you back to the support main page. I can’t find any way to actually contact them, so here I am.

Hi there,
I see Jerry has already helped you with this via email. Just in case you did not receive his reply, we were able to stop the transaction before any funds were transferred to us, so the money never left your account.
Let us know if you need any more help with this.
