I accidentally created a blog post under the Aside format (Balloon Theme) and cannot locate the “Format” option to change it back to Standard. Help!

Hi there!
I’ve requested that this post’s formats be changed. Sorry about that! Is there a formatting difference that you’re noticing?
-
Also, did you write this post in the dashboard editor? Or through the WordPress.com homepage editor?
-
Thank you for fixing it – the little “aside” icon is not gone! Is there a way where I could have changed the format myself?
No noticeable formatting difference on the post itself, however, I believe the formatting difference would show up on the “Reader” feed if I re-publish this post. Prior to the change, the post showed up without the photo and the title.
I typically start my post on the Dashboard Editor. How do I avoid making the format mistake again?
Appreciate your help!

The theme you’re using doesn’t support post formats, so you can’t manually change the format yourself. That’s why I’m interested in how you created and published the post.
If you remember anything else you did while editing or publishing this post, it would be most appreciated. We’d love to fix this up so you can’t accidentally post in a special format again. :)

I KNOW! I was so distressed when I couldn’t change it, so thank you again.
In any case, it’s been a while since I created that post, but if my memory serves me right, I was fussing around with the “Set Feature Image” functionality at the time.
Hope this helps!

By the way, I discovered you can also change your blog post type in the WordPress App. “Aside” is an available option for me in that environment.

Ah thanks for the additional details! We really appreciate it. I’ve reported this to our mobile developers for review.
