  I’ve tried everything I have found to change my avatar and nothing works. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you!

  Some have been having issues with this, but there is a solution. While you are logged into wordpress.COM, go to http://en.gravatar.com/, click on the “my account” pulldown at the top left and select “add image.” There you can upload your gravatar/avatar.

  It is best if the image you are uploading is not over 128px x 128px in size so that it will maintain maximum sharpness.

  Do note that it will take a few hours for it to propagate through to all the wordpress servers. The change will show up first here in the forums, so you can check back to this thread and when you see it change here, it will be just a short time till it shows up on comments and such.
