  Hi the option to change my background is not showing up on the colours and backgrounds tab. thanks.

  Hi there, looking at the theme’s showcase page https://wordpress.com/theme/balasana and in the Customizer, Balasana offers 3 color palettes where you can change individual colors by clicking on a color circle, but there’s no option for a background image with this theme.

  Keep in mind that Balasana has a static front page. If you are trying to change the images that appear there, you’ll edit that page from the Pages dashboard. If you are referring to the cover block that appears about half-way down the front page, you can replace or remove it while editing that page in the Editor. https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/cover-block/
