Cannot Change Color of header in posts

    I know that it should be simple to change the color of the header, but: in my posts I have a black background and I want the header of each article white. In every tutorial I find a menu which doesn’t look like mine. I have only this “new great simple” one and for example I cannot find the css-editor. Only if I am in edit mode for the site I find on the right side this css-button. But I don’t know what I should write there. Everything I write in doesn’t effect anything on my side for example .entry-title a { color:#FFFFFF; } doesn’t work… HELP!!!

    a) CSS questions should be posted in the CSS forum, not the Supprt forum.
    b) The blog linked to your username doesn’t have a black bg, so you also need to link to the blog in question.
