cannot change font. Can change color but not font

  I no longer can set the font to what I want on the site. I have tried for several days now.

  Hello –
  It looks like you might be using the theme, Rockfield? Is that right? If so, please explain the exact steps you are using to try to change the fonts.

  I’m using the Astra theme. I can change the color of the font, the shade, and the size but not the actual font. I have tried setting it as the WP global font, as the Elementor font, and as the font in the typography of the page and nothing changes. I have also tried setting the WP global font as inherit. I have been trying everything and cannot seem to find the needle in the haystack.
  When I preview the changes, everything looks as it should be but, when I publish/update what shows on the site is always the same font, looks like maybe Times New Roman, not the one I have selected. I have cleared the cache.

  Oh. I think this may be a browser issue. If your browser doesn’t allow other fonts to load, it will default to a standard font such as Arial or Times New Roman. Have you tried viewing the site on other browsers or other devices?

  I’m back. Thanks, yes, I have tried it using Chrome and Firefox. With and without using a VPN as well. Also, on phone. All show the same font. But, as I said, I can change color and shadow. Not sure what is going on. I also cleared the cache on the browsers.

  Wow, that is so interesting. Since you mentioned Elementor, I found this:

  Go to Elementor > Custom Fonts. If the URLs listed do not begin with https, click the DELETE button next to each, and then click UPLOAD buttons to re-upload the files.
  Go to Elementor > Tools and click the Regenerate CSS button
  The URLs should now begin with https and your fonts should appear on the front end.

  But it’s interesting that it displays in Preview and not Live. What shows when you use Developer Tools on the Live page? I tried but all I can see is the “Coming Soon” page.
