Cannot change header image in Karuna theme

I cannot change the header image in the Karuna theme. Followed all the instructions. Tried Firefox and Chrome. Tried my own images and the wp suggested images. Nothing works. The original theme image remains no matter what I try.
I’m building two other sites using the Karuna theme and they don’t have this problem. I’ve done no custom coding. The site is as standard.
This site appears to be a different version of Karuna – the layout is different to the other two themes I downloaded – so I’m guessing this will point to the problem:https://leosearlehawkins.wordpress.com

On further investigation it seems that the Karuna theme has become enmeshed with the Edin theme, which I previously tested. The site is showing the Edin images and the Karuna styling.
This seems to point to an underlying problem with the coding, so I’m hoping someone from Automattic can step in to help. Thanks.
