Cannot change my blog address

  I recently deleted a blog of mine and created a new one, yet WordPress won’t let me use the same address as I had in my previous blog, even though if you type in your browser it says the blog on that address does NOT exist. What should I do? Is there any way to contact WordPress itself? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid it’s not possible to re-use an address. This is indicated on the confirmation page you see upon deletion.

  I recommend you try registering a similar custom domain — https://wordpress.com/domains/ — or choose a different name.
