Cannot change or edit menu

    I have followed all online directions to edit and change my top horizontal menu and nothing has worked! Please help! I have made a new menu template and chosen it as my primary, I’ve even deleted the old menus, and yet none of this has chnaged the top horizontal menu navigation. I’m missing something but I don’t know what it is.

    Nevermind, I fixed it but there was no instruction online to deal with this problem. The solution was this:

    1. Appearance > Editor > Template
    2. In the list, click EXACTLY on the word “Page” (nowhere else).
    • Now I’m looking at the page template for my site. I click inside the top horizontal menu box to begin adding and editing things.
    • The original way I found this was that when I went to Appearance > Editor > Navigation. I then clicked on the top menu as if to edit it, but I can’t. This causes a little (hardly noticeable) message to appear on the bottom left of the screen. After 5+ times doing this again and again, I finally saw that message and clicked on the link, which eventually led me to the right place!

    If you all can make this problem MUCH easier to solve I’m sure you will save other people a headache who are in my position! Thanks.
