Cannot change the admin email address

    We have this message: ‘This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.’ but no confirmation was sent. How long does it take?

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. That email is being sent directly from your WordPress installation, not from us, so we’re not able to help with this. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

    Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
