Cannot Change the menu color in the default theme
-
Hello,
I am trying to change the color of all menu elements to white in the default template (WordPress twentytwenty). The Appearance>Customize Color has an RGB slider for to “Apply a custom color for links, buttons, featured images” but no way to select white or put a hex color in.
I have inspected the element and tries custom CSS for all of the classes in the element with no results.
I don’t want to manually color every line with HTML but want to change the global color for all menus. How can I access this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It is not possible to edit CSS on your site without upgrading to our WordPress.com Premium Plan (or higher) but you can change the “accent color” of your site to set a hex color if you wish.
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to find the accent color swatch and set it using the hex color for green (#2db169).
You can view the at this link: https://d.pr/v/SuFmpp
Please note there is logic in the color swatches that prevents you from picking white, since your site has a white background as well. To maintain a minimum of contrast (so the text is legible) it will automatically set it to a light grey.
To set white as a color (for your sidebar menu) you will need CSS as that cannot be achieved in the color swatches
