cannot change the size of a media (image)
-
I am trying to edit the size of this image
http://9thartwave.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3721&action=edit&message=10
into 70 width and 84 height, but for some reason when I preview it it does have a different size. I have the pictures of all the artists under the same dimensions without a problem
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, open that post, click on the image and then click on the image edit icon at upper left of the image. Next click on the “advanced” tab and remove the “height” number and the image will resize proportionally with a 70px width. Update the image and then go in and preview the post. If it is what you want, save and/or publish. You will see one autosave by me in your revisions where I tested, but I did not save anything.

hi, width is not the case but height…i want a height of 84, but i have to put 150 to achieve that in the preview

Replace the code you have with the following (in the text tab in the editor). What I did was to insert them image “from URL” which means the normal sizing criteria isn’t applies (large, full, medium, thumb) and then after inserting, I clicked on the image, clicked the edit button and then in the advanced tab I put in the 70 width and 84 height.
<a href="http://9thartwave.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/mg_8135.jpg"><img class="alignnone" alt="" src="http://9thartwave.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/mg_8135.jpg" width="70" height="84" /></a>You can get the URL of an uploaded image by going to the media library, click on the image title to edit and then in the module at right, the URL of the image will be in the grey field.
