cannot change theme

    Hi

    I want to activate a new cost-free theme, but it would not activate. Instead it says “ask for support”. I tried various themes, but it´s the same.

    Hi there,

    In order to be able to upload 3rd party plugins and/or themes on modernlanguageteaching.com you will need to upgrade it again to the Business plan. Currently I see that you purchased the Business plan in 2018 as you can see here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    However, I do not see that the Business plan was renewed in 2019 or 2020 so your site has lost the ability to upload new plugin and themes until you upgrade it again.

    Once you purchase the Business Plan again you will be able to add your theme without issue. If you prefer not to upgrade, you can instead use one of our “pre-installed” themes here: https://wordpress.com/themes/modernlanguageteaching.com
