    Hi all,

Attempting to fix my website after an attempted theme update broke things.

To change to a new theme, it looks like I need to update Jetpack, but when I attempt to do that, I get the following error(s):

Warning: ksort() expects parameter 1 to be array, object given in /home/content/22/11572722/html/worldtraveler/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/core/template-functions.php on line 316

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/22/11572722/html/worldtraveler/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/core/template-functions.php:316) in /home/content/22/11572722/html/worldtraveler/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1195

I get the same error when attempting to log into the website’s dashboard.

Any ideas on how to get out of this apparent catch-22?

    Thanks a ton in advance

    Hi there,

The self-hosted WordPress forums or even Jetpack support would be better able to help you with this, but based on those error messages it’s the bbPress plugin on your site that’s causing the problem. The typical process here is to access your site’s files via FTP at your hosting provider, and then either delete or rename the folder containing the plugin to disable it. Then you can log into WP-Admin again and fix things from there.

For more detailed (and knowledgeable) help on this, I recommend you try the WordPress.org forums, here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/

You can find the specific sub-forum for the bbPress plugin here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bbpress

And in case you need to contact Jetpack support, you can use this link:

Since the site is hosted on wordpress.com, I thought it wouldn’t allow ftp access? Disabling plugins via ftp was my first plan, but I don’t think I can do that.

    wordpress.com ftp access

Since the site is hosted on wordpress.com

http://zoevlastos.com/ is not hosted with WordPress.com. That site is using the self-hosted WordPress.org software, and is hosted by GoDaddy.com. You need to log into your hosting account at GoDaddy, and you should find instructions for FTP access there.

The reason you see that site in your WordPress.com account is because it’s connected here via the Jetpack plugin.
