Cannot change URL on PAID blog…again…

  Hi. I have a blog at eclecticesoteric.com under a paid plan, but recently changed the name of the blog to Realizations Radio (not yet reflected in the system, I don’t think, because it still says The Eclectic Esoteric in the My Blogs section).

  Furthermore, My Blogs does NOT get me to a place where I can change the URL to match this new change in name, and also shows that my URL is eclecticesotericdotcom.wordpress.com, which it (thankfullY) is not!

  PLEASE help me just change my URL to “http://www.realizationsradio.com” – it does not seem taken.

  It looks like realizationsradio.com is available to be registered. Simply log into your eclecticesotericdotcom.wordpress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter realizationsradio.com in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.

  Thanks Josh, but when I follow the steps you mentioned, the site leads me to a payment form to register the domain. Is there any way to just change the already-paid-for eclecticesoteric.com to realizationsradio.com?

  You will need to pay to register realizationsradio.com if you want to use as your domain. You have already used the free domain that comes with WordPress.com Premium to register eclecticesoteric.com. Once registered (and past the 48 hour cancellation window), domains are registered for a full year.
