Cannot change user name

  I have followed all the directions to change my user name but the box for Username under the Account Settings is grayed out. Do I have to have an upgraded account to have access to change it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No. This has zero to do with any upgrade.

  Have you changed your username previously?

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

  Are you trying to change your username to another one that someone else has already registered?

  Hi there,

  It looks like your email address hadn’t been verified but I can see you did that yesterday. You should now be able to update your username.
