Cannot Comment

  I currently use an (HTTPS) Blogger blog. Suddenly, I cannot leave comments on two blogs associated with Word Press. One is an HTTPS Word Press blog; one is an HTTP Blogger blog but uses Word Press/Intense Debate comment boxes. HELP!

  This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for Intense Debate which is only for WordPress.ORG software installs.

  There are two different kinds of wordpress software. Your login applies only to wordpress.COM hosted sites. It does not apply to wordpress.ORG installs.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/

  This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
  (3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

  I do not have anything to do with wordpress.ORG. I have a Blogger blog, with only their features. I have a WordPress account that I comment with on some blogs, as I have for six years.
  One blog that I cannot comment on has a WP/ID comment box. One is a WordPress blog.
  However, I am not alone. There are other bloggers who are having trouble commenting (only) on WordPress blogs. This is a new glitch that seems related to WordPress.

  Post the exact URLs of the sites here, knowing that we cannot assist anyone who is not referring to a .wordpress.COM hosted site.

  I will refer them here, as I do not feel it is my place to post their URLs. One is a blogspot.com. But, one is WordPress, with a .me URL.

  Post the exact URLs please knowing that unless or until you do that this thread will be dead in the water.
