Cannot Complete Account Recovery Form

Hello, I am trying to remove the account cityyearnewyork.wordpress.com. Because this account was last updated in 2014-15, and our organization has experienced significant turnover since then, we no longer have access to the account or proof of ownership (so I can’t submit the account recovery form). We now have a separate WordPress domain to house our website and blogs, and this cityyearnewyork.wordpress.com blog no longer fits with our current branding. Would you be able to remove and delete this website? We don’t need to access any of its information and have received requests from alums of our program that they would like for its pages to be taken down. Thank you, and please let me know if you need any additional information.

Only the account that owns the website can delete it; WordPress.com Support staff can’t delete sites or content for you.
To delete the site, you must prove ownership. Since you indicated you can’t fill out that form, your only other option is to email passwordhelp@wordpress.com explaining the situation and we can see if there’s anything we can do for you. Note this does not guarantee we will take any action.
