Cannot confirm email adress to begin posting

I’ve clicked the “re-send email” button several times but I have not received any confirmation email so I am unable to post on my website. The email I’ve set for my account is correct.

According to staff, it’s possible a bug is preventing the email being sent to you because your account was created several months ago, but not yet activated. If you recall, please indicate how you signed up (mobile app, Gravatar.com, or WordPress.com) and whether you remember getting an activation email when you first created your account. That will help with troubleshooting. I’ve tagged this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

Thank you! Yes, it might be the case that I didn’t activate my account when I signed up. I’m pretty sure I signed up through wordpress.com! I probably did get an email at the time but it has been deleted a long time ago…
