Cannot confirm-email initialized incorrectly

    When activating this account I inadvertently entered my email address incorrectly. When updating my email address, my request is pended – waiting on my confirmation of email address (which is not a valid according to http://email-checker.net/). It seems that I am prohibited to making changes until this confirmation comes from a bogus email. Does anyone know if WordPress checks for valid email address and may result in some type of “re-set” in this situation?
