Hi there, To the best of my knowledge, IFTTT does not cache that information on their end, but if you need help clearing that information out on IFTTT, I would write their support directly with the information in their onsite log.
If you need to update the account email and password on this end you can do so in your account profile.
Once you have that straightened out, make sure you are logged in to both your IFTTT account and your WordPressdotcom site account at the same time in the same browser. Then try to authorize the connection again.
I’ll go have a look at IFTTT in a bit and come back if I see something else in play.

There is one other place you can check here on WordPressdotcom. https://wordpress.com/me/security/connected-applications
If you see IFTTT there, try removing it.

So looking at IFTTT, the first thing it asks when you want to connect the WordPress channel is whether you have 2-step verification enabled. If so you’ll need to follow the steps here to generate an application-specific password. https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#application-specific-passwords
Next, make certain that you are connecting to the HTTPS version of your site URL.
Let me know if any of those steps have helped resolve this issue.

Just for the sake of completeness for anyone else who may find this thread in the future, you can edit or disconnect your IFTTT>WordPressdotcom or WordPress connection on this screen while logged in to your account on IFTTT https://ifttt.com/services/wordpress/settings

I really appreciate your input! Thank you so much! However, a couple months ago I tried to log into an IFTTT account, and I didn’t have one. I didn’t remember making one, so it made sense that I didn’t have one, but I thought I would try any way. I did end up creating one to see if I could find the answers I was after, but I didn’t find anything.

That being said, I actually just managed to get into it and find my blog. I think I have it sorted. Thank you so very much!
