Cannot connect to Facebook

  Here is the message I get when I try to connect to FB, which I have enjoyed in the past although not very recently.

  “The Facebook connection could not be made because this account does not have access to any Pages. Facebook supports Publicize connections to Facebook Pages, but not to Facebook Profiles. Learn More about Publicize for Facebook”

  Can someone help me out?

  Facebook changed their API a few months ago, they only allow auto-post connection to Facebook Pages now, not Profiles.

  I’m not sure I know what “auto-post” is and how to connect that element to FB. Can you give some tips on how to connect up unless you are saying I can no longer connect WordPress to FB.

  “auto-post” is what happens when you set up the WordPress.com Publicize connection feature with your Facebook account. So, when you publish a post on your blog, the post also auto-posts to your Facebook Page. You are receiving that error because Facebook no longer allows you to publicize blog posts automatically to your personal Facebook profile – only on Facebook Pages.
