Cannot connect to wordpress for Jetpack (for automatic tax calculation)

    If I go directly to wordpress, I can connect with (email visible only to moderators and staff) and the PW.
    But when I try to connect Jetpack to it, it will not connect.
    I tried uninstalling the plugin as well as the Woocommerce tax, reinstall, all the same.

    Well I found out that if I can’t connect with an account from the wp plugin, even though I can connect directly 
    to that same account in wordpress.org, I have to create a new account with another email, then it will work.
    Not too interesting.
    What do I see ?
    I get to the connection page (narrow vertical) then I enter with the proper credentials, and it does not connect.
    I tried over and over, after doing the disconnect, nothing works. But again, if I go directly to the wordpress.com login with the same credentials, it works.
    This jetpack plugin is not working well. Or it is in your system, that for some reason does not accept the connection.
    But there is 0 control to be found inside the wordpress account, like disconnecting a website, or resetting.

    ps. Now if I go directly in wordpress.com and try with the same (email visible only to moderators and staff), it says the account does not exists !!! Looks like it has been deleted !!!!

    not wordpress.org but rather wordpress.com.

    If you’re trying to connect Jetpack, they require that you connect to a WordPress.com user account to be fully activated. To do so, you will have to connect your site to your infinitechwy WordPress.com user account (which you’re logged into currently) or the WordPress.com user account tied to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
