Cannot contact email support

I have a wordpress.com Starter Plan that should give me access to email support. I tried to follow the guide at the following page: https://wordpress.com/fr/support/contacter-lassistance-wordpress-com/#assistance-par-e-mail
And yet I only get access to a chatbot. Eventualy the chatbot tries to send me to a form to communicate with a human, but I get an error when I try to submit the form (“an error occured, try later”). I supposed the error is caused by my plan not including chat support.
How can I speak with a human?
In case this is relevant my problem is that I am trying to buy back a domain that expired because we did not renew it on time. I cannot buy it back from the wordpress.com interface. Its status is “status: REDEMPTION pending: DELETE eppstatus: pendingDelete”
