  Hi Mary!

  Thanks for the report. We are having some issues with this at the moment. Could you provide the following details?

  1. When you’re adding and editing new posts, does the URL in the address bar indicate you’re on your Dashboard, which would look like this:

     http://jeremeyduvall.com/wp-admin/….

     Or within the WordPress.com editor, which would look like this?

     https://wordpress.com/post

  2. Are you using the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + V) or right-clicking and clicking “Paste”?
  3. Are you experiencing trouble in all browsers or just Safari?
  4. Where are you copying the content from before trying to paste?

  Hello! I am not using a short cut. I highlight text (usually a quote or something from a variety of websites) hit copy then try to paste to my wordpress blog. I’ve been doing it this way for 3 years and no issue until a few days ago. I haven’t had trouble any place except wordpress. I’m not even sure what the first part of your question means (I’m not tech savvy) so I hope this gives you enough information. Thanks! Mary

  Hey Mary,

  Thanks for providing the additional information. The following would be extremely helpful. Could you try to answer these questions?

  1. The address bar is where you would type in a site address (facebook.com for example) to go to a website. When you’re adding and editing new posts, it should look like one of the following:

     http://jeremeyduvall.com/wp-admin/….

     or

     https://wordpress.com/post

     Could you let me know which one you’re seeing? I’ve provided a screenshot here as an example:

  2. Are you experiencing trouble in all browsers or just Safari? Could you test out Google Chrome for example?
