Cannot create a blog

Dear WordPress Team,
I used to have a blog called karinadayo and an account with the same username. I deleted the blog and changed the account name to karinakonz. Now I am trying to start a new blog with the web address karinakonz.wordpress.com but it keeps telling me that this name is already taken. When I click on http://karinakonz.wordpress.com it says that it is no longer available. Please help me create a blog with this web address. Thank you! -
You can’t get it back – sorry. To delete a blog takes bypassing 3 warnings that blog deletion is irreversible and clicking a confirmation link in an email for good reason ie. deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

The thing is, I am not trying to retrieve a deleted blog-name. The one I deleted was karinadayo.wordpress.com and the one I am trying to create is karinakonz.wordpress.com
