Cannot Create Directory – Changing File Permissions Doesn't Work

    I cannot see my plugins on the dashboard. I tried to change the permissions via Filezilla under wpcontent folder (775 for files and 644 for directories). It didnt help. at the end, I removed all plugins manually through Filezilla. I do not know what is wrong or changed since the site was running without a problem last july.

    It sounds like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress site, because there are not plugins on WordPress.com, so you’ll want to check with your website hosting company or the self-hosted support forums.
