Cannot create links in the post editor

    Create a link to a previous post. I have done this many, many times before with no problem, but now it acts as if it is working but does not create the link. There is a funny new cartoon dialog box shaped thing. I have cut and pasted the link from the page into that box, as well as tying to do it the way it used to work. Nothing seems to work. Once it made the link but the box never went away.
