Cannot Create XML file Using Export
-
Normally each day when I update my weblog I export an XML file of all content, using the Export feature. Lately, the Export feature was acting a bit buggy, and for the past few days I cannot export all content to an XML file at all. When I try, I get the following message:
This webpage is not available
The webpage at https://fromtherecamier02.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?download=true&content=all&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=0&post_end_date=0&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&submit=Download+Export+File might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error code: ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE
Please help!

Hi there!
Sorry to hear that. I have added the modlook tag to this thread to bring it to Staff’s attention. Please subscribe to this thread by clicking the Subscribe to Topics link in the right sidebar or check the box under the reply field that says “Notify me of followup posts via e-mail”. If the Export option is not going through on your end (for whatever reason), Staff can do it for you and then they’ll send you a download link for you to download the XML file.

Hi there! I’m happy to send you a download link for your export. Once your site gets too big, your browser can’t handle the export script anymore so staff will have to send you an export.
Just so you know, we do keep full backups of your entire site. Here’s some more information about our backups:
I’ll send you a private email with a download link shortly. :)
