cannot customize colors in vigilance theme
-
Hi!
I don’t now why but in vigilance theme, once I enable customize colors, no matter what HEX code without # I insert, nothing happens but the border becomes beige always.
Cannot avoid red hovers either.
What am I doing wrong? Thank you!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same problem and have been searching the forum for an answer.
I go to Appearance –> Vigilance Options –> Color Scheme
I enable Customize Color
I put in the hex colors I want and include the hash tag in front as per instructions
I Save Changes
The colors do not change when I refresh my site.
Any suggestions or is this just a bug? How do we report a bug to ThemeFoundery?

@digang, your blog is self-hosted and you need to be asking your questions in the self-hosted wordpress forum at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . http://ismyblogworking.com/twendingtopics.com
This forum is for those hosted here at wordpress.COM.
If you don’t know the difference, see the .COM vs .ORG sticky post at the top of the main forum page.

Actually, I am having the same problem. My blog is: http://ravenswingpoetry.com/. I’m not self-hosted. Any idea as to what’s going on?
-
Vigilicance user here too. My custom colours just changed back to the standard colours.
My WordPress-hosted blog is: http://taaldacht.wordpress.com

Several things have changed in my Vigilance-themed blog since yesterday:the links are no longer the custom color I defined in my CSS addition; youtube shortcode no longer works.
-
I see Vigilance now supports the menu widget. I gather this is the reason why the custom colouring is affected/disabled.
-
Update: youtube shortcode issue solved by logging out of Firefox, clearing cache, & logging back in.
Color problem persists.

Yep… there is definitely a problem with the Vigilance theme. My friend and I both use the theme (on two separate blogs) Both of us lost all of our custom colors, and the blog returned to it’s icky default colors.
I’m sure WordPress will fix it!

My theme is all screwed up too. It changed on its own. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
-
@musecatcher
Staff are adding custom menus to the Vigilance template. Unless and until, they are done there will be no “fix” as only they can do the “fixing”. -

Hi all — we apologize for the issues with Vigilance. We are making some small changes today to the theme.

Mine is still messed up. However, I certainly do appreciate the font change for post titles.
-
Same problem with Vigilance — custom colours disappeared.

Same problem here. The fonts were fine as they were (I’m using Vigilance).
It would be much appreciated that if you’re going to add left and right navigation tabs, at the bottom of the post pages, they are inclusive of the categories (and not in terms of the order of when the posts were published regardless of category). Personally, I don’t really see the need for this new function when the category menu is sufficient enough. Is it possible to disable this new function?

My Vigilance header and link fonts are suddenly all different, and the sidebar space has been truncated horizontally, really messing the layout up. Also my link colors are now all this yucky reddish orange. What’s going on?

I for one do not like the changes to colors or fonts.
