Cannot Customize colors “Unable to save due to 1 invalid setting.”
-
Hi there! I have a site that is 100% hosted using WordPress.com. It’s found here: https://travellingethan.wordpress.com/
When I go into the “Customize” menu, I am able to edit anything I want (like the Site Identity, Menus, Widgets, etc.) and save the changes without any problem. The only thing that does not seem to work is when I try to change the Colors in the “Colors and Background” section. As soon as I select any color (for Headers, Links, or Buttons) and try to save my changes, the changes do not save and the error “Unable to save due to 1 invalid setting.” shows up.
I have very little customization on my site so I don’t know what would be causing this. What should I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
It looks like you are currently using the Independent Publisher 2 WordPress theme.
I noticed that you have some blank inputs for color and background. You can try filling them all out and try again.

Tip: Before you start customizing, try clicking the default button first.

I hope this helps, if you need further assistance please let me know. I’d be happy to help.

Ah, clicking the “Default” button before changing the colors worked! Thanks for finding that fix!
