Cannot customize message in Publicize Edit link

  Although I’ve tried several times to customize the message in Publicize (Facebook & Twitter) on each and every new Post, inevitably my newly edited custom message goes right back to the default message i.e. the title of my post page. I am obviously overlooking something but what?

  About all I have to offer is to suggest logging out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

  You may not be overlooking anything. There is a bug with the WordPress.com shortlink generation that causes it to have two https at the front of each link. Publicize uses those links. That’s what’s borked, I bet.

  I have reported it to staff, but you might want to do so as well, since I was talking about the Share buttons and you’re talking about Publicize, but the effect is that it’s all broken.
