Cannot delete account

  Hello,

  I followed the procedure for deleting my account, but it is still active. I would like to delete the account. This is no so much a question, but rather a request. However, I used the Contact Us option and I was redirected here.

  Hello,
  WordPress.com doesn’t have the option to delete an account, but you can cancel email notifications and remove your personal information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  I would like to add that one of the problems is that when participating in WordPress.com sites discussions, if one puts the email that was originally registered at WordPress.com, the site insists on one logging in before posting. This is annoying, so I think WordPress.com should allow closure of the accounts.
