Cannot delete deleted categories

Hello,
My site is ichundderwald.wordpress.com
In the menu you see category gear… there are submenus that are empty. How can I delete those two? They were former categories that I deleted.
Pls help.

Hey there,
Hm this seems odd, in my experience if you have a Category item added to your primary menu and then you delete that Category, this item will be automatically removed from the primary menu. How exactly did you go about adding these items to the menu in the first place and furthermore how did you delete them?
When you navigate to the Menus tab within your Customizer and within it access the Primary Menu do you see two sub menu items beneath the Gear menu item? If so, select them and hit the Remove link at the bottom. If not, let me know what you see there.

The explanation above is great.Being in similar situations with my own header, I found that the link to “Manage Categories” was really helpful.
1.MySite
2. All the way to the bottom to SETTINGS
3. Top of the screen, click the tab WRITING
4. ^ BENEATH IT, in the Box Titled “CATEGORIES click the ” > ”The link will probably be this. I saved this link so i can access it quicker.

I only have a mobile to manage my site.
In writing/categories I do not see those categories. Otherwise I would delete them.
In menu settings I see 2 categories named “no label”. I can change their positions but cannot delete them.
In the website I see empty menu bars.
Guess this is because mobile error (both app and via browser chrome)? Can I get into the html or something and delete it there?
