cannot delete my account

I am trying to delete my account using the link in account settings but I get a message saying it won’t delete and to contact support. Please delete this account.

This may be because there may be an open subscription with WordPress.com.
Are you aware of any recent charges from, WordPress.com, Akismet, Jetpack or WooCommerce?

I retired last year and decided to learn website development by setting up a website for my wife. I chose WordPress and Elementor to build the site. I spent the last half of 2020 learning the related tools and built a prototype website on my local PC using the “LocalHost”. I came across the Gravatars and was able to set up a couple of gravatars using my personal emails.
This January, I signed on with HostGator to host my domain, MoonflowerStudio.xyz and started building the site. I removed the existing gravatars on Gravatar.com and attempted to set up new ones for my domain email accounts. I could set up accounts but got an error when uploading the images. I set up accounts in WordPress.com thinking this might help but it didn’t. I thought that removing all the accounts on both Gravatar.com and WordPress.com might help clean up things but now when I try to redo the accounts, I get this message: “This account has been closed. If you believe your account was closed in error, please contact us.”
Bottom line is that I wanted to be able to assign gravatars to each of my user domain email accounts. I finally figured out the solution. By working back and forth with my existing wordpress.com account and the related gravatar account, I was able to add all of the emails and assign gravatars to them.
