Since the site catshaer.nl no longer exists on your server, the “ghost” connection is preventing the standard dashboard from processing a deletion, so you should use the direct management link at https://wordpress.com/settings/manage-connection/catshaer.nl to bypass the site’s local files and disconnect it from the WordPress.com side. If that link leads to a 404 error, you can navigate to the legacy “My Blogs” page at https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs, which often displays a “Remove from account” option that the modern interface lacks. Should these manual methods fail, you will need to contact a WordPress.com “Happiness Engineer” or use the Jetpack Support form to request a manual purge, as staff members have the administrative override necessary to clear defunct domain records that are no longer reachable by the automated system.
