Cannot delete post tags today

Several attempts to delete posts tags failed this afternoon. I tried deleting ten or twelve in bulk three times, each time without a single tag being deleted. Then I tried to delete them individually. Individual deletions failed as well. End result: no tags could be deleted.

That is strange. What exactly happened? Can you post the error message or an image of it? Will you provide a screenshot for Staff? I’ll tag this thread for their attention. You can use http://snag.gy/ to share screenshots and link to them here. Alternatively you use the WordPress.com guide for posting screenshots and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

This is interesting. Can you walk me through exactly how you were trying to remove tags? If you could provide me the steps to reproduce, with screenshots, and/or screencast that would be extremely helpful.
Please add any screenshots/screencast to your Media > Library and I’d be happy to take a further look.

I was able to remove tags today, so the issue is resolved. However, I still have no idea why I was unable to remove tags on the 20th.
The procedure I used then was the same one I’ve always used (at Dashboard > Posts > Tags):
To delete individual tags
1. hover over tag to display options
2. click on deleteTo delete in bulk
1. check tags to delete
2. toggle “bulk actions” to delete
3. click on “apply” button -
It might have been a small glitch, but I’m glad you were able to remove them! Let me know it you run into this again.
