Cannot Delete Site
-
Hi WordPress Community! We’re trying to do a little cleanup – I would like to delete an old blog from our account, but the system tells me that we have premium upgrades that are active. I go to look at my upgrades, and there are none listed. Thoughts?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can find step-by-step guides below that will help you remove a self-hosted WordPress site you had previously connected to your WordPress.com account thanks to the Jetpack plugin. https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Thanks for the followup! I actually linked to the wrong site. The correct site is https://ruralcommunity.wordpress.com/, which *is* hosted in wordpress.com – but it still won’t let me delete. The system says “you have premium upgrades active,” but I can’t seem to find them to cancel :(

Hi there,
There was a domain mapping subscription for ruralcommunitybuilding.fb.org that expired over a year ago.
I have removed that subscription, so you should be able to delete the site.
Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site, as we can’t revert a site deletion for any reason.
If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and other members of the site can view it when logged in:
