Cannot delete two sites and no email received

    I’m getting a bit upset with WP right now– I have two blogs under my account that I want to delete, and yet everytime I try to delete them, it says I’ll receive an email, and yet I don’t receive an email and have tried over and over to delete these two sites. Of course WP doesn’t offer any way to help and I can’t contact them, which is complete and total BS, so does anyone know what else I can do other than choose ‘delete site’ and wait on an email that won’t come, or know how I can possibly get in touch with someone at WP that can delete these two sites for me? I’ve never even done anything with them, they’re completely empty, so I’m pretty ticked off right now that they aren’t deleting as easy as the others I deleted were. It’s just two random ones and it’s driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note too- I’m choosing to completely delete the site and all of its content. Thanks so much!

    When we register a username account the email address we provided becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged in under that username all the blogs we register are registered to that username.

    There are two main types of email notifications that you’ll receive from WordPress.com. Did you designate a different email addresses for each of these?

    Exactly what are the URLs starting with http:// to the two blogs in question? Please post them.

    Are both blogs registered under the same username account?

    I just checked your account and it appears that you have deleted all the blogs under your username.

    Hi,

    I, too, have the same problem. There are several inactive blogs that I’ve been deleting since forever, and still no confirmation emails.

    I strongly suspect it might be because the emails were being directed to an email address I no longer have access to, but that’s why I changed my email address on my profile too, but sadly, many months after I’ve changed it, every time I logged into my account, it still says “there is a pending change of your email”, although the email address on record is already the email address I changed to.

    Interestingly, few days after I changed my email address (or it could be that same day, can’t remember), I also deleted one blog, and the confirmation link got to that email address. And I’m sure it’s where the confirmation came because I couldn’t access my old email anymore.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    There are several inactive blogs that I’ve been deleting since forever, and still no confirmation emails.

    What are the URLs of those blogs? I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.
