Cannot delete user, even though I'm an admin.

I’m trying to remove a user but it keeps stating ‘There was an error removing @username’. I am an admin on the site… Any ideas?

Usually that means they’re the site owner. They would need to authorize the transfer of ownership to another user before they can be removed. Which user are you trying to remove, and from which site?
