Cannot delete website

After I deleted my wordpress.com website (Tools > Delete Site > etc…) I do not receive an email with a confirmation link. It’s not in my spam and I do have access to the emailaddress connected to the site profile. What now?

It’s not in my spam and I do have access to the emailaddress connected to the site profile.
Can you tell me what address this is? Note that the email will be sent to the address on the account. If that has changed, you can change your account email address from here:
https://wordpress.com/settings/account/
Please note that the change will not immediately take effect as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

Can you try to delete the site one more time? This issue should be fixed up now, and the email should get delivered to your email address.
